I surf topshop to look at their latest new arrival, only to found that some of these things I can make by my own (or done by the nearest tailor with a minimum cost.. ahh the beauty of third world country and their cheap labour)

Project # 1.

cropped white shirt. Which can be easily done with any white shirt that you're bored of. Just alter it to your desired length, hem it and voila! white topshop cropped shirt!

Project # 2.

I love these headbands. they're cute, but they're amazingly expensive at those stores. And when I look at it, I know I can make one myself. All I need is some plastic or fabric flowers (preferrably from mom's collection, *grin*)
Measure your head...
pluck 'em off,
and sew them with colorful elastic band,
and yay! whimsical accessories!

Project # 3.

I love gingham cropped tops. but again , they're EXPENSIVE. and I remember I used to have those gingham tops I can alter :)
and for the skirt, look to the nearest fabric stores at Pasar Baru. They're extremely cheap! and buy satin linings, go to the tailor, get them made. :)
its one of a kind, and you can pick the flower patterns !
you can even make stripes and polkadots!
go nuts!

Last project :


got a boring flower top? Got them altered with zippers at the front! Make sure you make one with low neckline, because its just better :)
Zipper is the new thing baby!
put them on your metallic leggings,
on your mini skirt (you can even alter the flower skirt with shocking pink zipper, or yellow zipper on the side or on the front :D)

a wonderful weekend :D

aaaahh I had such a wonderful weekend. Started my friday morning flying to Jakarta to attend Honda's grand opening, and then had dinner with my honda buddies ;)
and the next day, off to Mangdu with my boi, I bought a really nice fitting blazer, a very cool t-shirt, and 7 colorful stockings, waiting to be paired with my dresses... :D

and we went to The Executive and I bought 3 tops which is on 80% sale, so each top costs only from Rp.40.000 - Rp.75.000! Madness!

Mostly experimental, although I find myself always dressed with leggings, cute shoes and matching bags with a very comfortable yet chic top.
I love dresses now days and have a lot of dresses in my wardrobe. I hardly wear jeans anymore, seriously. Not because I don't like it, just because I haven't bought the Levis curvy jeans :D So that will be my next personal style. Jeans with booty. hahaha.

Si Grace kemarin chatting sama aku di MSN. We were discussing about Indonesian food and then she asked me the recipe of Rica Rica.. and I says : errr.. ga tauuu.. and then remembered that I have this link saved di my laptop, its called NCC-Indonesia.
its the website for all the Indonesian recipes, makes it really convenient for Indonesian mother living overseas dan lupa sama resep nenek moyang.. heheh...

anyway aku lagi liat2 recipenya, and I found one that I really like, namanya Chocolate Jelly with Baileys Cream.
but from the way I look at it, its more like Bailey's drink with Jelly..
So I'll share the recipes with you guys here. just in case you want to try to make one yourself, and when you do, snap pictures of it and send me the link, i'll post it here :D

so the recipe :
Pudingnya:
1 bungkus jeli bubuk coklat - aku pake Nutrijel
175 gr gula pasir
650 ml air

Sausnya:
250 ml Susu cair plain - aku pake Ultra
3 sachet susu kental manis
3 sdt kopi instan bubuk larutkan dengan sedikit air panas- aku pake Nescafe
150 ml air dingin
Bailey's sesukanya berapa banyak - aku pake 75 ml
es batu secukupnya

Cara bikinnya, gampang kok :
Campur jelly bubuk dengan gula pasir, tambah air, aduk rata kemudian didihkan.
Cetak di loyang/piring/pyrex kotak. Dinginkan
Sambil menunggu jelly nya keras, campur bahan saus jadi satu, aduk rata.
Sesudah jelly keras, potong menjadi kotak kecil2 kira2 0.5cm. Masukkan ke dalam mangkok saji.
Tuangkan saus, tambahkan es batu. Langsung dimakan deh....

things i browse..

i was browsing my pictures again from Langkawi. I just noticed that most of the pictures I took will always emphasize on how great the sky looks.. :D like the clouds and all.

I was close to this guy once, and he told me that he have a thing for clouds. I snorted and laughed at him and told him how cheesy he was. And after a while, things did not worked out between us and we just stop calling each other.

And I find myself still looking at the sky, trying to understand what he means.

After a while, I find myself capturing moments of the beautiful clouds. :)

I guess he was right.

Having a thing for clouds is an amazing feeling :) it kinda makes you feel more grateful, of what you have in life :)

when I was at Macau last year, I saw a rack of these ugly nylon bags for sale, and they're not that cheap either. I saw the brand and I know its Longchamp. But what I still don't get is how people are willing to fish out $150 for such simple nylon bags.

until..
A week ago, my friend's family visit Lampung and I saw her with her mom carrying the exact same fugly bag I saw last year at Macau..


And I can see how convenient it is. It folded up to a really small pouch and you can slide it inside your luggage and use it as your emergency last minute shopping bag.
totally convenient.

tie a pretty scarf around the handle and voila, a fashion statement bag.

I start to browse Longchamp and I want 5 of these :D

F1 Day at Sepang!

Sepaang!! The unbelieveably HOT place with so little breeze. Umbrella is A MUST ITEM!

oh man.. looks like its gonna rain :S

We got the honor to go to PittStop for like half and hour with the PittStop pass, which after I later checked online costs around Rp.50.000.000~ Madness!!
Well we only use them to have a feel of whats its like at Pittstop, after that we're 'kicked' back outside to the tribune.. hahahah.

PittStop pass allows you to watch the f1 from the room above the Pittshop, with free flow of drinks and 5 star hotel meals, and of course, cushions and aircons and TVs everywhere. :D Ahh.. the luxury people can afford never fail to amaze me.

Well at least we can take a picture here and prove we're THIS CLOSE to the car. lol
and don't forget we get to meet MASSA!!
